Hi again,i used this switch wiring  http://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/images/3PDTbwiring.jpg  and all issues seemed to be gone,no switch popping,no scratchy vol pot and no reduced output,what i have is a decent high gain pedal although i still have to gig it but i'm sure it will be ok at volume,thanks again to all, Crawf.
