Hey all. I'm just finishing the FV-1 (http://tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=122). It has 2 solders for every 2 jacks (4 in total),

I'm wiring like i normally do (http://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/images/3PDTwiring.jpg) and I'm wondering where the extra wires go. I'm just going to wire 1 input and 1 output jack.

Do I actually need to wire them all to complete the circuit or can i just hardwire and use the single input/output jacks (stereo for in and mono for out). Any help would be much appreciated.

p.s. anyone able to pass on info as to where they got their crystal. I got a very small one from digikey and i'm pretty sure it'll work but not the right packaging type. here's the one i got (http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?keywords=631-1001-1-ND). it was the only one that matched the specs that was available in less than 1000 for quantity. thanks guys!. Very interesting pedal

The jack wiring looks standard, requiring the input to tip, output to tip, and both sleeves of both cable plugs = ground.
Can you access the data sheet for the chip?, read, scour for 'wierd' digital hookup info [say...needs a load on the output or something like that...], other than that I 'think''' you'll be able to hookup to a correct power supply and test how much of a partial does what you expect it to.
Not sure and don't cotton to figuring out whats and when-ifs on build partials, if it looks like it'll work it probably won't break if you try it and test a partial of the circuit [scour data sheet for warning notes], these things are very easy to misread when all is clearly marked or stated on one sheet, unless say AC is PS or there's a reverse polarity accident, you probably aren't going to damage anything, the method of testing as you go is often used by prototypers.
