Using Tonemender instead of Dr. Boogey tonestack...how?

Hello,

I've just finished to build (and tweak it...) a Dr. Boogey and i love it very much.
All i want now it's to replace his Marshall-esque tonestack (which i don't need because i have a wonderful Thor too...) with another one, more flexible.
As i've read here a good choice for that is ROG's Tonemender: http://www.runoffgroove.com/tonemender.html.
It seems easy to do that, but my only problem is what to do with the 1M resistor from the output of the tonestack to Vr (it is absolute necessary?) and with the 100K resistor from the junction point between the bass and mid pots to Vr, too (i must to connect it to the ground?).

Thx a lot!!
