So I have my Ruby working now...and Im stocked with it...1st ever build went flawlessly. But its a touch too bassy...would like a bit more treble getting through. Is it possible to add a tone controll pot to the ruby circuit? or is it a case of changing components untill I get the sound I require...what components will effect the tone?

Cheers!

A simple starting point would be to adjust the value of the 47 nF (.047 uF) capacitor between the FET and the volume pot.  Use a socket to make it easy to try out different cap values.

A smaller cap value (perhaps start with 39 nF) will let less bass through, while a larger cap (such as .1 uF) will let more bass through.  Adjust to taste.

you could put a hipass filter in there
but i dont know if they suck volume like tone stacks do, the the first fet stage might not be nessesary
you could also use the fet stage from run off groove's Grace overdrive, which is designed to add more treble
