perfboard conections

If you have two components that will be connected to each other is it ok to put them on the same hole on  a perfboard? It seems like it would be ok it your gonna use the lead from one component to attach it to the other, but maybe there has to be a little seperation?

You could IF the leads could fit through the hole.

In ampbuilding you do that all the time. As long as it fits just do it.

i have some resistors with thin leads and i do that all the time...
