Weird problem pot >50% no sound <50% sound!

The FXs are a BigMuff and a Highway89 and I have this problem;  I have a good distorted signal with pot within 0 and 50% (wired correctly as I hear the signal increasing from o to 50 regurarly), then as soon as the pot is turned all the way up I get no signal, indeed I get the signal but almost one second after I hit the strings of the guitar, and it rise from 0 to loud just like you turn the (working!) pot from left to right.

Any idea what could be the problem, at the moment I cannot post voltages as they are hooked on this board (old picture).

voltages are important, it could be a biasing problem.

And also the pot wiring could be critical, you didn't post a picture with them and didn't specify if you're talking about gain pot or volume pot.

Thx, yes, I know that, I was just trying to see if anybody else got the same issue.'cause normally if something's wrong there's no signal at all or just the dry not wet signal (got this prob with a Rebote), but it never happens to me to get a good sound with pot at min and almost no sound with pot at max, as I said before pot looks wired in the right way as it works fine till half run.

I'll post them next week (leaving tonight for the long Easter's weekend!  ).

btw is the volume pot.
