I'm looking to build an A/B box (used in reverse - selecting between two inputs for one output), and would like to put a volume pot on one of the inputs.  Any ideas of what value pot I should use?  I read of someone doing this somewhere, and while it's very simple I wasn't sure how to implement it (still so new...  :icon_redface:).  Anyways, I thought it could work well, maybe even have a switch that could take it out of the signal patch.  Any ideas friendly folks?

Best,

If your guitar has passive pickups you should use a pot value from 1M to 250K. If you have active pickups you can lower that to 100k or so. Test the various values and let your ears be the judge.

The French connection

I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

You also may need to put a cap and resistor on the pot in order not too lose treble at low volume settings:
