AD-3208 Phsssshhhhht sound with repeats?

I finally fund  good spot for the bias and balance trimmers, so I have a near non-distorted repeat, but now I have this phsssshhhhht sound with each repeat.  It sounds like normal hiss, like when you turn your amp up real loud with each repeat.  The repeats are clear themselves, there's just this sound behind them?  I searched but found no real clues as to what this may be.  I am using 3 500pf caps in the build instead of the called for 3 470pf caps.  could this be an issue?  Is this just normal for this pedal?  Thanks!
