Tube screamer w/mini 12AX7

Has any one here stuck a tube into a tube screamer? I'll post a picture of one I saw on ebay if someone will give me instructions on how to post a picture or point me to a post on how to do it....couldn't find one.

Sticking a tube into a tube screamer to get good sound is about like rubbing yourself all over the weight stacks at the gym to get stronger - the two are not necessarily connected, except by proximity.

You cannot necessarily get good sound simply because there's a tube in the box. Just ask the guys with the all-in-one MIDI rackmount rigs with a 12AX7 glowing through the front plate to be sure you can see it.

Try a Shaka tube, much better than a TS with a tube stuck in it.
