Hi everyone!
I've got some strange voltages in my Ce-2 build:

MN3007 PIN 2, wich is connected to MN3101 PIN 4 gives me 0 VOLTS,
also i got 9V on MN3101 PIN 2 (connected to MN3007 PIN 6).  All the other voltages on Q1-Q5 and on the other IC's are right.

This pins are the Mn3101 Clock outs CP1 and CP2 according to the Panasonic datasheet.

Also i got some strange loud gated distortion when i bypass the dry sound with the Vibrato switch.

Any ideas? Bad MN3101 ?

Thanks

Matteo,

I've used and abused lots of MN3101's and never killed one, so the chance of a defective one is rather small. No guarantee of course .
I think the MN3101's oscillator is not running.
Since one of the outputs is high and the other output is low, they appear to be OK, as they are outputs of the internal flipflop.
This makes me think the IC is OK

I think you should concentrate on the IC's timing parts connected to pins 5 & 7 of the MN3101.

I found the problem. PIN 8 of the MN3007 gives me Vcc, so the chip is dead. Since i desoldered it from an old Boss Me-5, maybe i fried it with to much heat. Thanks Andrè for your help
