This is kind of a noob question, but on a 2.1mm wall wart output jack, is the inside polarity what's going to ground in your circuit?  In other words, if I have an negative ground circuit do I want negative polarity on the inside of my power output jack?  I'm trying to figure out if I bought the wrong power supply for my next project.  ???

Thanks.

Use your DMM set to ohms to tell which contact goes to signal ground in your pedal. It could - and has been - both for different pedals.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
