Guys there is 330uF electrolyte cap in Red Llama. Is 16V cap ok? Or shall i better use 25V (it is bigger)?

SonicVI

16V is fine.  4049's can't take more than about 15V anyway so you won't be running it over 16V.

As a rule of thumb, choose a capacitor with voltage rating that is twice the voltage that will be used in the circuit. If you run your circuit at 9V, then choose a capacitor with a rating of 18V and more. 16V will be just fine here.

Since size is the issue here; keep in mind that the 330uf cap is simply filtering the power supply, so the value of the cap isn't so important.  You could use a 100uf, or maybe even a 47uf cap (both of which will be smaller) with no ill effects or change in the final sound of the circuit.

guys is there any rule pf thumb about the diode that protects semiconductors from reversed the voltage?

Rule of thumb as to what?  Voltage?  Direction?  Type?

direction is clear, just max. current -> i usually use 1A silicon type. i'm sorry for not saying  that clearly. thanks.

I think what matters is the peak reverse voltage (not entirely sure so someone might want to back me up) as long as it's high enough, ie more than 10 volts or so, it should be good. 1n4001s are around 50V I think.  Also, most pedal power supplies are around 300-500ma, so I imagine it should be at least 1A.  Anyone want to confirm this?
