Guv'nor problem, won't work until I play hard

I have a problem with my Guvnor. It is totally silent, nothing goes through until I hit a really hard chord. Than it works fine, even if I don't play again. But once I turn it off and turn it back on the same thing happens.  What should I be looking at?

Just in case anyones ever has this, seems like the opamp went bad.
