2 inductors + both in series with a 2pdt?

Hi.

I've been scratching my head trying to come up with a good way to connect two switchable inductors in my wah with at 3-way on-on-on 2pdt toggle. The thing that bothers me is that I want them to be connected in series in the middle position (or whatever position), and I just can't figure out how to do this. Is it possible to achieve this with just a 2pdt? If so, please tell me how to wire it.

Regards,
Beros.

Hi mate, gotta say, this one had me scratching my head...

Short answer is I don't think it can be done with a standard DP on/on/on, as they rely on connecting two sets of teminals with two sets of terminals... Rather, I think you need to get a double pole three position rotary switch and wire as follows:

The LHS (with the 'in' arrow) represents one of the sets of pole on the switch.  The RHS ('out' arrow) represents the second set.

This gives you, in position one:

In position two:

And in position three:

Seems to work to me - can anyone spot any flaws in this otherwise brilliant plan?  There might be a way to adapt this a DP on/on/on - possibly using a DP off/off/off if there is such a thing!!

Good luck - I hope someone can confirm or deny my scribbles for you
