on the 16ch board, when the heavy iron bounces in the hammock, it really yanks the DC jack off.
BOARD<wire>HEAVY IRON<wire...pulls the cheep plastic 'hammock stay' and breaks it, N/P.
I can thank Fender, Crate or any other knob engineers for the breakaway knobs/potshaft design on the Beh's.
I've been rubbing their roses in their noses for years on that one...it takes less plastic to make a sturdy design. The 1'' plastic edge knobs-hence-potshafts are easiest to hit, and the Master Volume knob was...right there [on a Fender board, but is same on Beh], sticking out way past flush, and waiting for a reasonable stress...touched the rear seatcushion on a bump, very delicate and unnecesarily stupid IMO/E, no good for road use.
