I was wondering what tricks you have to do to get these things looking good.  I've built up a few clear coats around them they were even and stuff on that level BUT I always wind up with the clear part of the decal looking a little hazy.  I put some clear on before i put the decal and i've gotten to the point where i get all of the bubbles out but I'm still going around in circles because the last couple of times the hazy thing happened when everything got good and dry.

Hey Robbie,

Try searching the forum...I remember a topic from a while back that really went into depth on the decals.  I always clear coat, let it dry really well, then apply, smooth out bubbles, and let the decal dry a day or 2.  Then 2-3 additional coats of clear.   A drop of white vinegar in the warm water to soften the decal helps...maybe it's the manufacturer's fault?  Or could be minerals in your water?  Never had any go hazy (yet).

The only thing I can think of is that you haven`t allowed sufficient time for the decal to dry completely and the clear-coat has reacted to the residual moisture.

That makes sense.  I thought that I did go through all the steps but I didn't really let em dry as long as I should of.  Thanks guys.
