I cant find info on this that i need, so tell me if i got this right. Im wanting to replace an input cap with this, I'll just wire the two pole positions into the holes where the input cap would go then check the rotary for continuity to figure where to wire the caps..like if 1 and 3 had continuty on position one then  that would be the poles to wire one cap and 2 and 4=continuity wire another and so on....right? :icon_question:

or is this more complicated that this............thanks everyone on the ff circuit idea help works great and i got everything piled into a zvex  style smallass box with a light emitting border ha haaaaaaaaa.........

That is one way to do it.

You can accomplish the same thing with a 1 pole switch by wiring one end of the cap space on the pcb to the pole.  You would attach one end of each cap to each throw of the switch and bundle the other end of all the cap together.  You would the solder the bundled ends of the caps and wire the bundle to the other side of the cap on the pcb.
