KEELEY BOOST TRIMMING

Hi
I made the Keeley boost using the schem/pcb i found on Markm's Gallery (Thank you MarkM for sharing, great job!!)
Which value do i have to trim the 5K trim?
The voltage at Drain pin goes from about 8,75 V to about 7,5V; do i have to trim it by ear? (that's what i did)
Or it (drain pin) must reach 4,5 V (in this case i made an error - but the stompbox sounds very good)

I trimmed this one by ear. not much help I know but, it sounded pretty good.
