I found an old broken Karaoke machine in the dumpster.  Lot of great parts!
Because of the Echo in them for vocals:  MN3007 & MN3101
Also Tons of caps, resistors, trimpots, diodes, even a couple of germ diodes  also  :
TDA8172,  LA4261, TA7784P, AN7312, BA10324A  and a bunch of good transistors....

Absolutely!  Keep your eyes on the ends of the driveway on garbage day!

Wow, good find. It's cool to open a broken machine and find cool parts inside.

Could be the echo board/efkt works!!! Without schem you might be able to figure it out..having everything you need [might want better pots] for a fine echo.
Roftunately there are quite a number of things that could go wrong with one of these units [all the more parts for us scavengerz] and I hope to see one coming soon to a curb near me!!!
Did you check to see whappens when plugged in?
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

There seems to be some kind of poetic justice in this... :D

It must just feel really *good* to completely dismantle something as obnoxious as a karaoke machine for the parts- and then use them for creating wonderful tones.

It reminds me of Ted Nugent's attempt back in the 70's (I think) to buy Muzak- so he could "finally shelve it- for good"...

I tried to narrow down the echo circuit, but it ran all over the place, oh well, still have plenty of parts to make my own.  Yes, sweet justice for the Karaoke Machine.   Let's play "LIVE" music now!!!
Peace,
