RadioShack dc jacks

Hey guys,

I've been tinkering around for a few days on my first build, mostly waiting on 3pdt switches, and I finally have all my parts in. I am using a Radioshack size m dc jack with switch to add an adapter to my pedal. I'm having trouble telling which lug i'm supposed to hook my ground, 9V batt (+) , and my circuit/switch (+) to. Anybody else ever used these that can help me out. Totally new to this, so be easy on me please!

No, its got the center pin connection (ground??), shell??, and one more lug (the other positive) , but I can't tell which one hooks to the battery and which one hooks to the circuit and switch.
