there are many of those knobs on old instruments here where I work... would it be ok if I steal some of those and resell them for cheap?

.....mh... maybe not  :-\
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

They are the same as Universal Audio knobs used on the reissue 610 / 6176 etc.
Send them an email, they do sell spares BTW
Is it the smaller 2.5cm width or the larger 5.5cm ( approx ) that you need ? as
you'll need to be clear when asking.

I've got one that's very similar but the white line doesn't go as far back.  It's .8" in diameter and .5" in height.  It's also a little beat from use, which adds to the vintage value.

Who knows? Maybe they would like "modern" knobs!  :icon_wink:

I've seen those knobs somewhere, but I just can't recall where.
Maybe is was Allied Electronics? or perhaps Circuit Specialists? Tubesandmore/Antique Electronic Supply maybe?
I just don't remember. Sorry.

I think these shown below are pretty sexy for modern knobs.
Reminds me of the Vintage Vox Beatle SS Amp (Buckingham?), but modernized with black anodizing.
Gold would be good too.
This guy calls them Darth Vader knobs, which is appropo me-thinks.
He sells three different sizes.

(Please guys, don't hog them all up... leave at least a a few for me for later.)

I think I have some...it won't have a chance to dig through my boxes for a day or two though...

That looks like the one as far as I can tell. I sent them an email. Im building a Neovibe with a carbon fiber top and I wanted a big funky set of knobs. Those will do nicely if I can get them.

OK. No go on those. They want a serial number to sell replacement knobs  :icon_frown:

Son of a bitch!  Someone must still make this knob. I just cant figure out who it is and davies doesn't seem to have a dealer for their model 4104 online which was an alternative and kinda funky in its own right.
