I got some value packs of components from Futurlec and in the diode pack there are several different ones just labeled "Z0" with different voltage and current ratings. What are these and when can they be used (in other words, most schematics I've seen call for a specific diode like 1N4002, etc...)

Thanks.

What do they look like ?
  What are the FT's ?
Did you search for data sheet ?

It are zener diodes ranging in volts, like these http://www.banzaieffects.com/0-5W-c-473.html

I used one in a zvex super duper.
