Hi, I'm looking for a 12V wall wart for the Ruby amp. I'm not clear on which one I need - these seem to differ only by current:

http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&categoryId=453530&productId=100453530&f1=30658%7C2.1mm+x+5.5mm&f1=30661%7C12&action=Update+Filter

Could I use the 200mA? Also, do I risk frying my circuit if I used a wall wart with too high current rating? What current level is generally ok for guitar effects projects?

Thanks.

200mA should be fine, after all that's what a Boss 9v psu puts out.

Just make sure your LM386 can handle 12V. ;)
