Well, I am so fond of heavy distortion and high gain, being a METAL musician...

I saw the Odie and i loved its sound clips onthe ROG site...That has been a "I'm going to build it someday" circuit.
What I am not so fond of is the tone control, not on the Odie but almost everywhere...
So I had a couple of PM with B Tremblay (obviously all credits of the original circuit go to him, and also my big THANK YOU for being so kind and helped me in my direction...)

So basically I built a modified Odie, without the tone control, discarding the last part of the circuit, it has only 2 trannies now...It was so easy to build, and man, what a sound!!! I love it!!!

I made 2 layouts:

The first was made from the perf layout on the ROG site as a guide, so it has the trimpots.
I didn't build this one, as I have no trims around, but it should be correct.

The second one has NO trimpots, I have 2 sockets for res. - I had to find the value of those 2, i think I am going to take out the sockets and solder permanently the res. I chose.
I found that 10k for RVa and 33k for RVb work so good...

I wanted to share my layouts with all of you, with Mr. Tremblay written permission - again, all credits go to ROG, I just cut a part of the existing circuit...

You also find those layouts in the gallery
