However-Im thinking about a mosfet boost or this Fat Boostered?

Any opinions comparing the two?

I've read good things about the mosfet booster but I had not yet built it because I own a Fulltone Fatboost....One booster is enough !  :P Anyway, I am very happy with the fatboost, it works wonderfully in front of a tube amp (especially vintage style like). It is really usefull to push the amp in the "tone heaven area". That's the kind of stompbox you can let switch on all the time and just play only with the volume knob of your guitar. But i guess any clean booster will do the job (mini booster, fat booster, ...)

the fat bastard is like a minibooster with tone controls and extra doo-dads added.

For what it costs (almost nothing) to put a mosfet boost together, and for what an amazing clean boost it is, there's really no reason not to build one.  I often use both a mosfet and a minibooster live, using one or the other, depending upon my mood at a given moment.  Both are fantastic, but they're very different.  Each is very worthy and excellent to have on tap.
