Is there much difference between a JRC4558D and a JRC4558DX?

Also, I always have a hard time finding data sheets for IC's.  Anyone know of a good site for finding them?

Just type the chip # plus "datasheet" on your Google and watch the datasheets roll in.

I'm usually pretty good with search engines but I can't seem to find a data sheet for either of these.
What I want to know the most is will a jrc4558dx work well in a tube screamer clone.  I found three of these in a junked piece of stereo equipment from the 80's.

I believe the DD,Dx etc are the year they were produced in.

DD is a low noise version (or selected for). My guess is that those are low noise versions. Besides D and DD, there's also DA, DE, DM and maybe another one or two (or maybe more). I have no idea why so many.

You won't find out from the datasheets if it's going to sound good or not in a Screamer.
Try them and see,I have a 5532 in mine right now,but I also use 4558 with different suffixes like DD,P,PP,D,JRC....it's all good and bound to give different sounds.
