I'm measuring 9.07v on the non stripe side.  That is the side the power is coming in.  It's the first component after power hits the board.  How come it measures 14+ on the stripe side?  It don't make no sense.  I'm going to replace it.  But any ideas?

Thanks

Don

I'm using a byoc shredder pcb.  I've got one that works that I'm checking with.  I'm running it off of a Boss daisy chain.  I've swapped the diode for a new one.  Even the IC is measuring in the 15v's and 16v's.

Wow, that's a toughie.

I would ask the smart guys over at byoc to enlighten me if I were you.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
