ayayay!

I searched and couldn't find any.

Anyway, there's a local company that sells these.  I just picked up some more CU-123 enclosures, almost identical to the Hammond 1590a's but considerably cheaper.  I like them a lot.

Where's the love?

I like 'em too, I use CU-124 and CU-473 for most projects, or a CU-477 for larger projects.

If someone can provide links to suppliers of these, I will be a very happy man. Hammond enclosures are stupidly expensive here in Australia

I think Hammond enclosures are stupidly expensive, period. I checked Mouser recently and was shocked by the prices of the Hammond stuff. Maybe I'm biased by the Taiwanese knock-offs and Steve's custom non-ribbed 125b (which is awesome BTW)  but it seems like Hammond has had some serious price hikes over the years. IIRC, 8 years ago when I was buying 1590bb's they were affordable. Now, they seem like some kind of bizarre vintage Ebay auction gone loco...

I get them through mouser. I checked the bud website and it looks like either Newark Electronics or PEI Genesis would be the distributors covering Australia: http://www.budind.com/addr.php?type=dist&state=OTHER

Cant beat the Cu- 471, 472 & 473 for most effect builds. Get 'em through Mouser.
Range from $9 to around $20 for boxes sized for our needs.

A lot to do with the tanking of the green back in the last couple of years. Wasn't very long ago the Cdn$ was worth sixty odd cents American but within the last year at one point it was going to cost you $1.10 US to buy $1 Cdn. Anything produced up here would have prices that have skyrocketed if purchased in the states. Has hit Canadian manufacturing very hard the US being our #1 trading partner. Canadian cosumers love the high dollar but it's killing manufacturers up here. I live not too far from Hammond country and the last boxes I bought were manufactured in the EU.

I like to buy Hammond product from Tip Top Electronics in Winnipeg, it's out of province so I don't pay sales tax and there prices are the best I've found around here and shipping seems to be about the same as for something coming from 40k away. Of course I have to wait a couple weeks to get them as Tip Top doesn't seem to stock a lot of the Hammond line (but lists it on their website), so i place my order with Tip Top, they order the stuff from Hammond (30 minutes away from me), Hammond ships it half way across the country then it gets shipped to me back in Hammond country.  Price for a 1590b is $7.20 cdn and 1590bb $9.40 cdn. Canadian dollar is now back down around $.90 US.
