Hello !

Well....I'm having issues with my laser printer and blue PNP.

I have an HP 2600n LaserJet. and here's how my PNP prints come out:

Any suggestions ? I've tried running the DPI to 600 rather than the default 2400 - no luck there....

I can print to transparencies and do the photoresist boards with no problems.....but this PNP is dogging me.

and yes - I am printing to the matte side of the paper.

Thanks, Dan

Is the copper side clean?  You may need to sand with fine grit sandpaper for the PNP to adhere to.  I don't use PNP but I get peeling of my toner when my Cu board has spots I missed or the surface isn't roughed up just a little.

I guess I should clarify - what you're looking at the the PNP paper fresh out of the printer. The "gold" you see is the light reflecting off the freshly printed shiny ink.

Weird. I have the same printer (HP Color LaserJet 2600n), recently acquired. Before I was using a HP laserjet 5L (black only). I recently printed my first batch of PnP with the 2600 and it came out perfect. Are you using the black toner (E.G print in back and white only) or the color toners also? What I noticed when transferring to the copper is that the toner melts at a little lower temperature than the 5L, so my traces came out a bit fatter, but OK anyway.
Stupid question: are you printing to the correct side of the PnP?
