quick question about ic sockets

During my TS-808 build, I noticed that I oriented the IC Socket backwards. I haven't finished the board yet, so I'd like to know if this will matter, as long as I orient the IC correctly. Thanks

It's the IC that matters.

Just make sure you remember which direction the IC itself needs to go and you'll be fine.
