First Build... Unsuccesful :(

I think common mods are pretty easy - try changing the Op Amp, or perhaps changing the Diodes.

I took a quick look at the build documents - it looks like the Diodes would be easy to play with. Also, there's all sorts of variations with caps, resistors and, as mentioned, the diodes and IC. It could really become something very individual if you started to mess with all that. Actually, it kinda makes me want to get a kit...

I don't remember from the pictures you posted if you socketed anything, so if you don't want to mess with the board you're probably not going to do any mods. I think it could become something quite cool, however the real test is - how does it sound now? Do you like it? Are you using this for learning before trying something new, or are you hoping to have a useable pedal at the end?
