voltage doubler

i was wondering if anybody had a voltage doubling circuit so i could power an 18v pedal with the same 9v supply all my other pedals

In this case, it's "Circuit Sweepings". There are articles there for generating both +9 and -9V from a single battery, as well as a doubler/tripler/quadrupler for 18, 26, and 33V from a 9V.
