Welcome to the forum !
But don't know about the tube Fuzz Face...  :)

I typed "tube fuzz face" into the function and found a thread called TUBE FUZZ FACE

The valvecaster is a similar kind ogf topography. Or this: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=70533.0l

I tried this independently a few years ago. My results agree with Tone God's in that thread. Due to adapting it to a high voltage tube circuit, the circuit had to change in a way that didn't make it a fuzz face (voltage feedback amp?) anymore. It was unimpressive to say the least.

I think the FF is basically a happy accident- a quirky circuit that only works with particular components set up in a particular way. No designer in his right mind would intentionally design a circuit like that in this day & age.

Aren't we forgetting the tubes as 12U7?
They run perfectly on 12V.
If we put a resistor at the cathode (as in some silicon FFs) of the first stage, some things might be cooking...
