SCRAMBLER Blend Knob function? HELP

Scrambler layout and board from GGG.  Voltages look good.
Texture knob is fine (B10K)
Sounds cool, I guess... BUT the "Blend" Pot cant be right...
I used a B50K pot, wired correctly, but when the pot is fully CCW, it cuts volume completely until the last 1/4inch of the pots rotation and then it springs into life.
Replaced pot, same thing.
Is this right?

No, it is not right.

FIXED.   

After doing some researching I saw that a 1uf cap is wrong on the original schematic and has been known to cause a loud pop when you turn on the pedal. It connected to the same pot in question on Lug 1. I knew it had to be it as soon as I realized it.
Works great now.
