Making regulated power supply from an old adapter

I just tore apart an Ibanez 9v 200mA adapter to see what's going on inside. A transformer, a voltage regulator, two diodes and two electro caps housed in plastic I had to smash to get through.

Could I build something like GGG's regulated power supply with multiple outlets from these parts?

It's probably not enough current to power multiple pedals You would need at least an amp to power more than 2 or 3

The transformer for the GGG regulated power supply is only 200mA. Most of the pedals I would be powering draw from 5mA to 30mA.
My Boss RC20 apparently draws around 200mA on its own, so I would use a separate adapter for something like that.

You could easily run 5 or 6 DIY stompboxes on 200mA. It depends of course on which ones you run, but most I've made only use about 15mA's of current. That allows me 16, 15mA pedals.  If your boss RC20 requires a 200mA power supply, that usually means that it uses much less than 200mA of current. I have a Boss ME50 that requires a 200mA power supply, but with all of the effects on, all at max settings, and my guitar played extremely hard, it only pushes 80mA. I think 200mA is just a safe place for most pedals.
