Anyone knows if these are solder lug or pcb mount switches? I can't tell for sure from the pic

Someone is going to call me a hack - or say "that's a redneck way to do it" but...............

If I see lugs off the botton of a switch (or even a 9mm pc mount pot for instance) - I see a solder lug....

If there's tab sticking off the bottom of it - you can solder to it. I use alligator clips, those "third hand" things that have the magnifying glass and the bendy alligator clips - whatever it takes to hold the wire to the lug so you can heat both up to get some solder to 'em.

You can see the 9mm (pc mount) pots in this picture:

According to the datasheet the pins on the Small Bear switches are less then a millimeter wide, you're going to need some pretty tiny gear to drill a hole in them. :icon_wink:

I've got some of these from Digikey, they should do what you want. http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail?name=360-1788-ND

At the end I took those mountain switches at small bear, they are a bit pricey ($2.7 each) but what a heck :)
