I went straight to perfboard with it so I lost my option to easily swap components. It has the same bad sounding high-end breakup as the GGG Blues breaker without the alternate components. I searched here quit a bit yet found no solution. I may have to breadboard a second one unless someone here found the problem.

The alternate component BB just cut the highs and that would work with the BSIAB as well, however I would much rather fix then cut them.

Do you have any sockets? Just desolder the components and put sockets in their place. That will allow you to swap components until you find the right values for your ears.

I don't have the background to make an educated guess at which component may be at fault so if no one has an existing solution I will breadboard it. I thought with all the similar posts perhaps a solution was already found.
