Another "what am I going to use this for?" thread

One of the first orders I put into SBE, I ordered what I saw as a 4558 IC.  Not realizing it, I had ordered a 4558B which is a 16 pin IC, not the 8 pin one used to mod tubescreamers and the like.
It's been sitting in my parts box for a while and searched online, but haven't had much luck.

Anyone know anything about this?  useful?

Opamp Big Muff would use 3 of the four opamps. You coud use the fourth for a MXR microamp at the front end of the BM for boost. All in one box with two stompswitches. Neat!

A 4558B is an 8 pin dual opamp, I've never heard of a chip with 4558 in the name and 16 pins, are you sure that's what it is.

Yeah...
I'm away for the weekend, but I'll take a pic and send post it when I get back home tomorrow.

I think it uses 2 4558's/8pin DIPs.
