EA Tremolo Flashing Rate LED

Hi all,
I just built an EA Trem using a GGG pcb.  How do I hook up a flashing rate LED?

Another odd problem is that my 3PDT input and output jacks all short out agains the enclosure.  I've dealt with the problem using some fiber isolation washers from Small Bear, but the problem still persists.  What's causing the problem? is it my grounding or power scheme?

The EA Tremolo schematic at ROG has a rate LED in it. Not sure how different this schematic is as it has a few other mods. I've built the rog version and am very happy with it.
