i finished my EA trem.... wow quite a natural sounding tremolo for so few parts... i modded it to my taste (removed the 68K and 120k each side of the depth pot and changed it to 500k so it can get to no effect on 0 and a nice "choppier" sound when maxed) my only other mod was to use the "double-rate mod" on the Torchy vero

my question is on some mods, one can get the rate higher by doubling the 2,2M resistor on other mods it's by lowering the three 1uF caps to 0.82uF or 0.68uF

which one gives the better sound?

the rate i was aiming for was the Bang Bang video by Nancy Sinatra ca.youtube.com/watch?v=T5Xl0Qry-hA
i think the 2M2 mod gets there but i was wondering if it was worth going through the trouble of changing the caps

Hi
I think I built one with 0.47uF caps (I like MKT caps and 1uF ones are expensive and large).  I wasn't going for speed, but it gave me low enough and high enough, too.  It was really good.
just my 2c

did you have any differences in the sound other than the speed range by lowering those caps?
