QuoteWho's Frank Zappa?  Is he related to Dwezil Zappa?

Frank is/was basically everything I stand for:  (From answers.com...)

Politically, Zappa was a self-proclaimed "practical conservative",[5] an avowed supporter of capitalism and independent business. He was also a strident critic of mainstream education and organized religion. Zappa was a forthright and passionate advocate for freedom of speech and the abolition of censorship, and his work embodied his skeptical view of established political processes and structures. Although many assumed that he, like many musicians, used drugs, Zappa strongly opposed recreational drug use.[6]

The people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Frank was quite fond of odd names......as evidenced in his children!

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

One of Zappa's purely instrumental albums was banned for "offensive lyrics".
I think that gives you an idea of why he took it so personally.

As to drugs - he was a chronic cigarette smoker & died from prostate cancer, which is linked to smoking. It's terrible to think, that if he HAD been doing harder drugs he might still be with us.
Still he did more in his truncated life that a thousand mere mortals like me.

Wow, that's a cool story about this delay and also a good success story in terms of fixing it.  :icon_razz:
