I built the AMZ JFET Splitter by the numbers--according to the stripboard layout on the AMZ site. It sounded really icky--very weak and over driven.

I probably did something wrong, though I'm not sure what. I'm really a tube guy--SS is not my thing.

Has anyone actually built this unit? Is there a foolproof one-into-three splitter design anyone has?

Thanks
Rich

you can bet if it's on the AMZ site, it's a solid design, so it's probably an error in your build i'd think.

OK--problem solved--the tube guy had the power polarity backwards. Gee, it really does matter where you put those wires!

I mated that design to two wee tiny audio transformers to give outs 2&3 isolation. Works pretty well now.

Duh!!

I built one, and it does work really well, doesn't it?  Handy to have around...I use 1 output for the tuner, and the A/B is for going between my normal amp and my talkbox amp....
