Update on this build: I liked the Axis build but wanted a hotter sound so I changed the 15uF cap to  22uF.I also brought the input cap back  up to 2.2uF.I dumped the .033uF and put a 330 ohm resistor in place of the 1.2k.I also changed out the trannies for a pair of NOS BC108C's, basically bringing it back to a stock silicon FF.It sounds awesome and was just what I was looking for.The BC108C's biased up beautifully too.
