Muff Fuzz with BMP tone control?

Muff Fuzz + BMP tone =    or   

Is there to much loss or should it be all right without an additional gain stage?  I've tried searching as I thought that it might be a popular mod.  No luck.

I would say go for it, but include the gain recovery transistor stage from the BMP too after the tonestack, the tone control without recovery would be very lossy.

Sounds like a plan.  I'm going to try it this weekend.  I'll try to post the reults.

Most EH designs are quiet so I would include the tone recovery stage. I put a BMP tone stack on a modified fuzz face and its loud as hell without the recovery stage.
