Thanks for the props.  The volume change is so slight, I don't know if I would be able to hear any change with the audio probe.  I'll give it a try.

Problem solved........  Received a suggestion via email.  I increased the values of a resistor and a capacitor.  I would post the diagram but for some reason the program isn't allowing me to paste.  I can email if anyone is interested.  Thanks to all of you for your time and patience.

Changed the resistor to 22K



Changed the capacitor to .1uf
