H everyone,

I have a Schaller volume pedal I fancied modding to add an extra pot to set the minimum volume level.  The pedal currently sweeps from full volume in toe down position to zero volume (no sound at all) at the heel down position.  I was hoping to add a secondary pot to increase the volume of the heel down position.

I've had a look around and I'm a bit confused about two things:

1) Where, and how would I add the secondary pot to set the minimum volume?

2) What value of pot would be best to use?

The original way it is wired is as follows - Input Jack to Lug 1, Lug 2 to Output Jack and Lug 3 to ground, with a 100k pot.
Hope someone can help.

Thanks.

In between ground and the original pot.

Il'd go    New pot middle lug to lug 3. New pot lug 3 ( clockwise ) to ground. Lug 1 open or short to middle lug.

I would try another 100k (log) pot to set minimum volume. When the second pot is on full, the minimum volume will be about 6dB lower than max volume, when on zero, you get the default unmodified response.

I got it just the way I want it now.

Thanks for the advice guys.
