i've searched everyone's forum and heard references to a "high cut analog style" mod for the dd-5, but nothing on what needs to be done.  the only info i see is that it's not like the dd2/3.  anyone know how to do this?

I've this :

you can reduce or increase the cap value to your tastes.

You can also put a pot with the cap (in variable R) to have a kind of "cut tone" or "vintage tone" ect..... (I think it's what Cornish did with the Gilmour's tape echo simulator) ;D but you must find some place in the boss box.

That mod wont work on the dd5 or 6, you need to run a wire to the circuit board, tacked on to a point where the delayed sound comes out of the delay chip before it goes back off the board again. The schematics will show you some possibilities for that.

actually, it works like a tone control for the repeated signal ?

It must be a great mod, I think  (instead of buying a very expensive analog delay (even if isn't the same sound, of course))
