Hi slideman , R1 and R2 form a voltage divider so the 30v actually gives the +/- 15 v . you can look at it like this,  vfref = 0v     30v = +15v   and 0v = -15v So from a 30 volt source. This is exactly how it works with a 9v volt battery. The op amps wouldn't see 9v and 0v , they see +4.5v  0v and -4.5v , i hope this makes sense the way i have worded it.

The expression "Help me?" was used in place of "Could you do all those things for me?".
Someone did the same in a braziliam forum.
Good luck, the project looks promising...

Hi ANDYEFFECT I was wondering if you have tried to make a PCB or breadboarded the circuit i have drawn for you yet.  I am very interested in any results you have got !

I could draw a PCB for you, Andy, just tell me which box are you gonna use it, and if you're using dual supply or single supply. If you want it as a stand alone preamp, like a rack, also tell me, I could design it with PCB mounted pots and jacks.

Looks like a pretty tough job to be a commercial pedal fx handmaker without any knowledge about electronics basics.

Good luck!

Couldn'y agree more.

After all the help the original poster has been handed to him on a plate, but hasn't contributed in the slightest now wants someone to do a valve distortion as well.
My advice at this stage is stick to the original topic and try and get somewhere with this project. Or at least get an understanding of how the circuit works, its not really a good circuit to put in a pedal as DougH pointed out its a amplifier preamp design. I would happily help to give any info you require but i'm not getting caught up in a "do this for me " situation.

The whole idea of this hobby is to learn while also building something that i can use and hopefully be proud of. (for me it is anyway)
Good luck

Usually I am moved by the sounds I hear in my head or some sort of another guitar player sonic aproach that excites me. It took me to this land of custom build my equipment.
I build for my own use and amusement. Even being graduated as electronics technician, well it happened 25 years ago, I could not stand in fx pedals department without the forums around the net. But sharing is not doing someone else's homework, I think!
If it is aplied to the commercial perspective, I think it will become even more complicated...
