Determining film cap values

I like using the brown film caps that Mouser sells. The redish ones that Futurlec sells are good too i guess. I am currently debugging a Dr.Boogey that I threw together around thanksgiving time, and I need to double check that I put the right caps in. The problem is that they have some strange code printed on them that makes no sense. How does one determine the value of a film cap?
