Hey all. My first attempt at a DSP effect. There are a few things I'm wondering about this guy. I'm also easing back into stompbox-making so please bare with me. here's the link to the project file: http://tonepad.com/project.asp?id=68  (just click the pdf to see what i'm working with)

1. I'm wanting to wire it to a single in/out jack like most regular stompbox effects.
-here's how i'm wiring my pedals: http://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/images/3PDTwiring.jpg
-I tried taking the 2 grounds on the "L" side and the 2 grounds on the "R" side and chained them together and sent them to the ground lugs on the in/out jacks. is this correct?
-I also chained the "L" + "R" ins together and the "L" and "R" outs together to be able to wire them to the 3pdt switch as normal. This seems like it should work. I doesn't thus far. Am I missing something?

2. I accidentally ordered an smd crystal and i've ordered the proper casing type from ebay. should the smd type do the trick? (it's a little tricky to solder but the fv-1 chip is smd as well so you'd think it should work).

3. I used a green led. does the color matter as the schematic doesn't specify (that i can see).

4. Since the pedal is physically complete but there is no sound whatsoever when engaged, I know debugging is the next step... it is worth getting values and posting on here as it's not the average pedal choice for builders.

-Any help on this would be much appreciated. I'm so close to being done.

P.S. - I did try just sending the "L" in's and outs first ignoring anything to do with the right in's/out's. This did nothing, so i went ahead and wired the in's and outs together to make sure that every drilled hole on the board was in use.
